Brian, who gives a stuff what the idiot PC brigade think? We have been enjoying celebrating Christmas for hundreds of years before the PC nutters were around and we'll be celebrating Christmas long after they've gone back into their little holes!
You'll note the PC brigade never say we should stop people commemorating Yom Kippur, Diwali or Ramadan. Ironically, I am told it would 'not be PC to suggest Diwali should not be celebrated!' I have loads of Jewish, Hindu and Moslem friends and I have never met a single one who thinks Christmas is offensive. indeed, They get really angry that they are portrayed as people who are offended by such things when they seek only to live in peace with the rest of society.
So, I wish you a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS, with all the festivities that go with it. May it be a time of joy for you and all your family.
