Members Gallery RSS Feeds
Pixalo are now able to offer members individual RSS feeds from their Members Gallery. This allows members to use Pixalo as their source Photo store, whilst using the wonders of RSS to automatically update other websites such as Facebook, Myspace , Wordpress, own sites, with your latest photos
Following up from the suggestion of an RSS gallery feed raised by snap2photo here and after considering the counter points raised by some of our members, we have decided not to provide one single gallery feed. Instead, we are now in a position where if requested, we will setup individual RSS feeds for any members who want one. Each feed will pull the latest 50 thumbnails, descriptions and comments from that member’s gallery here at Pixalo and these can be fed directly into applications and websites such as Facebook and MySpace, or used in many other ways to populate online galleries or be manipulated with RSS feed scripts such as Magpie etc. For those that have the imagination and skill, there are many things that this could be used for, but please don’t expect the Crew at Pixalo to assist with coding your idea into an end solution. ![]() If you wish to have your own feed, please request it in this thread and as soon as it is set up, details will be posted back on how to access it. Please be aware that all feeds setup will be available to any members or guests via the feed links, so if you don’t want others to be able to access your feed, simply don’t request one. Pixalo accepts no responsibility beyond making you aware of the implications. ![]() For an example feed, you can view mine here (If you view in Firefox you'll see the pics)

Re: Members Gallery RSS Feeds
thanx for the hard work and feedback Steve, much appreciated, whilst i do not understand much if anything about feeds i do follow the advise about keeping file sizes low etc. I just like to know where my pics are going is all. Mind you i think i have one on my own web site but all the iamges there are even smaller than here on pixalo.

Re: Members Gallery RSS Feeds
All feeds, the ones we are offering above and the main gallery feed, have only ever offered thumbnails. Our feeds have never exposed the members full size photos to any additional theft incentive.
