Pixalo are once again proud to announce that we have listened to our members & implemented a solution to satisfy their needs

As of today you can now list all your Camera Gear from within your User Profile, which will then create an icon marked "Camera Gear" under your Name, in all your Forum posts. Anyone clicking this icon will see a list of your camera gear as you listed it In addition this information is also available for anyone viewing your public profile.

We feel this is far better than in the signatures as it can always be accessed and won't clutter up the forums.

If you now go to "User CP" you should see the option to 'Edit photography Equipment'. Please note the visibility of your "Camera Gear" profile to others is conditional on you filling out the details. This includes each field, so if you don't have an item to list for say "tripods", please leave it blank , rather than typing "none"

A big thankyou to Steve who did all the ground work on this one, including fixing code

Looks good to me!

Would've preferred a free format block of text, especially as apparently only room for 3 lenses, but I've worked around that!

Thanks for the feedback Markulous but if we had given just one text block, then it would have been difficult to keep it displaying neatly in the popup under our posts and as we plan to make the input fields searchable (at a later date), one block would have stopped that from working.

BTW Dave, assuming you have flogged your Nikon D70 by now, you need to remove it from you Gear listing
