Hi Pixelated, welcome to the site, I'm glad your liking what you see

I know of quite a few member's here that suffer from various level's of colour blindness and other eye problems, it's actually surprisingly common. Other's just prefer the more traditional colour schemes that "forums" normally have. At Pixalo we try and cater to the need's of as many of our member's as possible, up until recently that was impossible with Themes due to all the extra's we've added to the vBulletin software... we're now very happy we can say (and show) that it isn't the case anymore.

jeez. i felt "spanked" when I moaned about the grey theme the last time... hey ho.

another suggestion tho. it'd be nice to have the gallery and forums able to use different themes. IMO the dark theme is better for the photies but it blows for the forum. is this a possibility?

Sorry to hear that, I thought we all voiced our opinions and everyone was given a fair chance for input and then a vote was taken at the end and we went with the majority?

No this is not possible as the styling in the gallery and review sections are taken from which ever theme option you select on the forums. There is the style changer at the bottom of the pages in both the gallery and review sections though, so if you wish to change at any time and for any section, you can do it (fairly quickly) there.

That is the best we can do, but hey, some choice is better than none

Was on the black all yesterday - liking that one except, did I mention that I wish the text was a little brighter?

On the blue today ...

i realise that. my suggestion would require 1) a new field per user and 2) the gallery to look @ the new field when rendering a page - it obviously looks at the current theme setting so the code "just" gets changed to look at the new field.

The pain comes when there is an update to the gallery code tho. but you already know that

Yeah, that is right we did But we are always looking at ways to improve. Sonsey already mentioned a little about that here...

Hi to all at Pixalo!just like to say ithink this is a top layout for a site, with more buttons than a Levis factory, the grey works fine and is easy on the eyes,i mean can you imagine what it would be like to read a newspaper with every page a different colour??--i can--orrible.cheers.

Re: Time to rejoice - more choice for our valued Pixalo members

Hi took me a while to find the settings Blue is the easiest for me to read. I have to admit I don't find the site intuitive but I am persisting because RichB put me on to you and thats good enough for me . I have a soft green setting on my windows which is very relaxing to look at . I may try to post a picture with my next message its more easily recognisable

Re: Time to rejoice - more choice for our valued Pixalo members

Forgot to change over this a.m. ... Gonna try the Red out now.

Blue not too bad, but not as easy on the eyes as the grey or black, especially after a long time of looking at the screen.

Re: Time to rejoice - more choice for our valued Pixalo members

Used the blue & red colors ,not bad,but still prefere grey or black , the images & titles are a lot easier to read & looks very professional looking , grey still looks very good but black is still my color.

I like the Red + find it easier on the eyes than the Blue. Think I'll carry on with Red today.

The black is actually a new definition of black I wasn't previously aware of.
