I was in my local Jessops yesterday and they have reduced the price by £100 to £619 for the body and 18-155mm lens kit.

I had a play with the camera, and even though I've got a 350D at the moment, I am seriously considering upgrade [as I have someone interested in buying my kit anyway].

It felt slightly heavier and a little bit bigger than the EOS 350D but it actually felt more comfortable. The larger LCD screen is much sharper and clearer too. Also, for some reason, it seemed to feel quicker and more responsive.

Mmm. Don't know if it really is worth the upgrade though. From a 300D to a 400D, yes, it would be make sense.
