Re: D200 v 20D
I own a 20D but if I didn't already have that and a whole bunch of Canon lenses I would seriously look at the D200. Both cameras are evry capible and will give you results that any photographer would be happy with if used correctly.
The best advice though is to try before you buy, as there is so little difference between the two in feature terms it would come down to how comfortable they where to use, how they sit in your hands and how easy the menu system and operation buttons are for you to use and reach. Buyinga camera that doesn't feel comfortable toy you will mean that you wont use it. If at al possible get to a local dealer and take a good look at both in the flesh. HTH

Re: D200 v 20D
I've got a D200 I think the 30D is where you will be looking now rather than the 20D. Both are definitely capable of great results the differences largely depend on what you want to do with them. The 30D can be got a little cheaper so should mean you can spend a little more or lens/lenses extras which is a big consideration. The D200 has a slightly higher resolution and maybe marginally more advanced focusing. It depends on what you ultimately want to do, for most applications there is little between them. The only proviso would be if you ever intend to shoot for a stock library as for the main ones the 30D file size is not quite large enough.
