How about this? Film SLR for school

This is a ridiculous price, such a shame how the mighty have fallen, but is it worth buying this pack just for school photography? Is the camera any good?

Re: How about this? Film SLR for school

Unfortunately most film cameras sell for peanuts these days. This one is decent but there are plenty of others to choose from - there's an ESO 5 with only one bid at £50 and the auction closing in half an hour.

If possible I'd try for a film camera that can use the same lenses as your DSLR.

Re: How about this? Film SLR for school

this is true, but I thought Nikon lenses weren't backwards compatible? And I don't think I'll need a massive range of lenses anyway....(but you know....)

What's £27.99. I picked up an Agfa Karat Rangefinder for £35 to indulge my dabble with film...and I don't have to worry about changing lenses

Excellent choice, and you can pick up good FD lenses for a song. They'll probably knock the price down even more if you don't sing.
