Re: Nikon 1

For me, it's more about changing systems rather than trying a camera. At the moment a compact system doesn't meet my needs and the technological side of photography is changing so rapidly I can't keep up with all the new stuff the manufacturer's are bringing out.

I hope you find someone who has one and he can tell us all about it. Sorry Bob, being a bit "tongue in cheek" about this since at this rate I'll be able to buy a used Canon 1d Mark VIII for a couple of hundred oncers

Re: Nikon 1

read reviews (I think thom hogan has written some about it)

while I don't have one - or indeed any of the compact system camera stuff I do think nikon has at the moment got the sensor a little too small so it's not great at higher isos,. may not be a concern for the target market,.

I do know a lot of people love micro four thirds,. many more lens options from various vendors and then if you have a lot to spend there's the fuji x1pro type system
