Nikon 40DX looking for advice

I am thinking of buying the nikon 40DX. I have $800 and found one in this range with 2 lenses, the one with VR both Nikon lenses. I had purchased the Nikon40 but returned it and for the same $ can get the 40X on sale next week. I am a beginner but love to take photos, mostly nature, sports, family. I want to blow some photos up so thought the 10MP would be better. I will probably not be great at photography but just really enjoy it- so that is worth it to me. Please anyone advise. I want this to be the right camera for me. I want to get it in my hands and start shooting.

As I've said in another thread recently, Ken Rockwell rates the D40 very highly for the kind of photography you seem to be talking about, interested amateur level (correct me if I'm wrong). You seem to have found a good deal, and there isn't really anything I can think of for you that wouldn't make this camera suitable for your needs.
