have spotted a nikon d50 with nikkor 18-55mm lens + kodak 80_210mm lens
for £319 is this a good price, and more importantly is this a good camera. An y other reccomendations at this price.

Just time for a quick one yes I have the d50 and for the price I think its fantastic I paid 450 with only the 18-5mm so you are geting a bargin good luck

Best price I have seen new is £299 from camaeraworld, incl 18-55mm kit lens. Very good camera. You could also look at Canon 400D for about £100 more, which is also excellent.

I did see an excellent web deal, while looking for one for another member, but not sure if the deal is still running, will check + see if I can find it for you (can't remember who was running it) ...

Great camera, got mine for £250 body only

! I would take that deal, don't know much about the kodak lens though....

D50 is a great camera.

Hi billz,

You won't be dissapointed matey its a great camera, only had mine a short while ( charlotte put me onto it and gave me the lowdown) it handles well most controls come to hand nicely, super fast autofocus, great metering, nice viewfinder, I could go on I love it.....

Cashback offer on the D40 is still on. When I bought mine a couple of weeks ago I didn't realise they were running this promotion so I did the decent thing and didn't tell the missus and used the cash for other "necessities"
