13-06-06 Judgement Day
Well I finally decided to take the plunge and go for my first 'Mesters' lens.
Hopefully arriving tomorrow will be a 24-105mm 'L' F4. Its took me all week to find.... 1, Someone who's got them in. 2, Someone who's not taking the p**s with the price they are charging. (one place was over £900) Calumet in Nott's had ran out but Manchester had some in...£694.99 plus £8 delivery £703 in total. Whey hey!!!

Congratualtions on the new purchase and the first step on the 'forever broke due to L desire' road
 It sounds like you have found a fair price for what is by all accounts is a supurb lens. I take it you will be proudly showing of the first shots taken with this beauty? |

It arrived yesterday around 10.30am, but I haven't had chance to take any proper test shots as I've been doing 12hr shifts 9-9pm.
I will try and get some tonight. If not I'm going to duxford militry vehicle show on sunday, so should have a chance there. |
