18-300mm zoom lens available soon?
Is anyone aware that a new (hoax??) 18-300mm lens might be available soon? I have checked and came up with some at 28-300mm, Tamron; and 18-250 Tamron; of course the Pentax 18-250mm would be a good compromise for my K10D?
Anyone suggestion welcomed! |

i'm pretty sure that the distortion on a 18-300 would be very severe... and the IQ wouldent be the topps...
im sure it would be very optically slow, something like f/3.5-8 even if they did make one i would steer clear, i would rather be inconvienced by changing lenses w/ better IQ, than one mediocre "do-it-all"... just my opinion |
