350d main dial question

Hi

A friend of mine has asked if it possible to change the way aperture and shutter speeds are alteredby the main dial. Currently we/he use the main dial to change the shutter speed, to change the aperture we have to press the AV button the use the main dial to alter the setting.

Is it possible to change this round within the camera settings. I have looked in the 350d manual and an expanded manual but cannot find any info. Is it possible or not
Cheers

Lee

Re: 350d main dial question

I don't think so, judging from the way most entry dSLRs work. You can't do it on my D50...

Re: 350d main dial question

I've got a Rebel XT, which is similar, and no you can't change the two around. I have to say that changing the aperture in manual is a pain. I sometimes get the timer button below and then have to pull the camera away from my eye to see what I've done. Oh well, practice, practice, practice.
