Backdrops
Hi
I have been looking at backdrops, as I would like to work on portrait photography (if I can persuade my family to sit!) Has anyone found a supplier which has backdrops which are of a reasonable price, or have any suggestions for cheaper alternatives? My attempts with a tablecloth for flower shots weren't good (too many stains...) Nellie ![]() |

Re: Backdrops
I got 3 mtrs x 60 inch wide for just over £10 on the market, but on the advice of the lady who served me she said polycotton holds a crease, so she sold me polyester this she said is what people bought for backdrops hope this helps...Ray

Re: Backdrops
I also just buy some fabric. If I get unwanted shades when trying to get a perfect black background I just set the right tolerance in PSP then flood fill.

Re: Backdrops
Hi
Just bought a black roll and a white roll of polycotton from ebay - much cheaper than the commercial backdrops. Bearing in mind I've also bought a softbox light tent and some extension tubes...I'm all set (skint) for now ![]() Can't wait for them to arrive Nellie ![]() |
