Batteries For Sb800
I Have Some Ni-mh Aa2600 1.2v Batteries, Are These Ok To Use In Nikon
Sb800 Flash. If Not What Would Be Recommended. Also I Now Have A Canon 9000 Printer, Do I Have To Leave This Model Printer Switched On All The Time, Or Does This Just Apply To Models That Use Different Inks. Thank You |

Re: Batteries For Sb800
They will be perfect and give the fastest recycle times especially with the 5th battery. The only thing to watch is self discharge if you don't use them for long periods. The Sanyo Eneloops are very good if you want to leave a set of rechargeables in the flash for long periods without using them, but they are no match for freshly charged 2600s as you have.
Not sure about the 9000 printer but with inkjets its a balance and again depends how often you use them. |

Re: Batteries For Sb800
I had a canon 9000 printer and left it on all the time unless I was going away for a few days. I don't think that it will make much difference, the only thing I noticed was that when I switched it off and then switched it back on when I needed it it did take longer to get ready to print the first print.

Re: Batteries For Sb800
Vinny And Gary Thanks For Your Help.
Vinny I Have Found The Problem I Have With Using The Fifth Battery Is That My Charger Only Takes Four Batteries At A Time, Therefor I Have To Charge A Single Battery, Maybe Have To Buy A New Charger. Gary Thanks For Help With Printer. I Have Found The Same, It Takes Longer To Print The First One, As You Have To Turn It Off Then On Again. I Assumed As It Was Already On It Would Print Straight Away. |

Re: Batteries For Sb800
Most only charge 4 or 2 batteries it is tricky but worth it IMV for recycle times. If you have at least 2 full sets to charge at a time it makes it easier (10 batteries= 2X4 + 1X2)
