Re: Battery Chargers

I would strongly recommend getting a charger that monitors each cell individually. The cheaper ones monitor two or four cells together, or worse still just have a timer. If the cells are only partly discharged or different cells are discharged different amounts, there is a high risk of overcharging one or more of them. I have fried NiMH batteries using cheap chargers.

You may like to look at the Ansmann chargers - I use the DigiSpeed 4. These are not cheap but will save money in the long run by looking after the batteries much better.

Ansmann Battery Chargers

I've not searched for the best price, but that looks about right.

Re: Battery Chargers

I agree with Silkstone here. I've got an Energizer charger from Keene Electronics that you can get different adaptors for different batteries.

I have adaptor plates to charge my video camera batteries, AA,AAA, and others too - so you only need one charger.

Re: Battery Chargers

In fact, it looks so good I've just ordered one. It's handy to have a second charger to do 8 at a time for the helicopter TX. Delivery not until mid-April though, and I couldn't find anyone selling them except Battery Logic.
