Calling all Sigma 50-500 users
Hello comrades
I have the 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM which is nearly 3 years old now. I am thinking it may be worth paying to have it serviced by our friends at Sigma UK and was wondering if any of you have had yours serviced. I have been quoted £75 for a full service which will include upgrading the chip for use on my D200 and to check focusing etc etc, basically it should come back gleaming like new. If it doesnt have mushrooms on the elements, dont service it. Besides, if your D200 has the firmware update, you wont need to upgrade the lens. Save your money and get a real lens like the 70-200 VR.
