Calumet 7300 tripod

Anyone have any experience of the Calumet 7300 tripod. Its advertised in this months Outdoor Photography for £69.99 including a 3way head and tripod bag.

Looking at spec it seems to do most things you want from a tripod, although possibly a little heavy @ 2.6kg . If you can stretch your budget I could recommend this Carbon Fibre tripod http://www.pixalo.com/community/came...5-a-16538.html

Otherwise check out subscriptions to Photography Mags, as sometimes they offer free tripods for signing up .

The calumet tripod is steady, strong, and light. I own that exact one, I carry it in the car at all times. theres a 7100 wich is a lot lighter, and the bigger version the 7500. and fot the 3way head never had a problem with it either, its smooth and actually pretty quick to use once you get used to it.

its worth every cent. you really dont need to spend 200.00
