Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
hey.. I am looking for a new camera bag to accommodate my new equipment - an upgrade from my Slingshot 100 AW which is too too small.
Anyone know of any magazines offering a decent sized bag with subscription? Theres always one or two but this saves me trawling through newsagents! ![]() |

Re: Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
Digital Photo are offering a Kata bag in Feb's addition but to be quite honest it really doesn't look any bigger than your Slingshot.

I am sure I saw a decent one with an 18 month rather than 12 moth subscription. Racking my brains where i saw it though! ![]() |

Re: Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
I believe Practical Photography are giving away a limited number of Lowepro Mini Trekkers in their current issue when you take out a subscription, get in there quick!.
I took the same offer out about 18 months ago, decent mag, great bag. |

Re: Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
Sorry Loafer... you could try doing a google search to see if any of the online mag subscription services are including the Lowepro Mini Trekker as part of the Practical Photography subscription.

Re: Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
Be warned that all of these offers have small print which says that they can vary the "gift" and send you other goods to the equivalent value. I recently renewed a Magazine subscription as they were offering an Artic Butterfly which I wanted but I actually received a small Camera Bag and a Jessops card reader that did not work. I have been harassing them for months over the Jessops card reader and they now plan to send me a camera lens cleaning kit. I would recommend only ordering the Magazine if you really want it.

Re: Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
Another caveat is that the freebie may have the magazine name stamped on it. I guess a camera bag looks like a camera bag anyway, but having the name of a photo magazine on it is an added invitation to thieves.
I really need to reduce my bag collection (currently stands at 12 ) so all I have to do now is launch a magazine. ![]() |

Re: Camera bags with Magazine subscriptions
I'm still looking for the perfect bag. It has to be able to carry all my kit but still weigh less than half an ounce when full.
I'm thinking that the solution may involve helium balloons. |
