Me too Sarah! I have had the money set aside for this one for ages and it is now burning a big hole in my pocket! Can't wait to move on up to this little beauty :o)

the really wonderful thing about this 40d is the digicIII sensor. The DigicII that is in the 30d is possibly the cleanest and free of noise sensor. The digicIII supposedly surpasses its older brother... I cant wait to get one.

Steve, how come I didn't think of that? the perfect excuse right under my nose LOL. I have taken your advice.... the camera is ordered and paid for, just got to wait for Onestop to get it over to me from HK :o)
Excellent price: £720 including postage and no import duty. That's £180 less than Warehouse Express (plus postage!) and they won't have them in stoick until October. In Asia the 40D was released on 20th August and Onestop have them in stock as we speak  Cheers, Rob |
