Re: Canon 40D leak
You're not wrong there Sil, as a 20D owner I would have been happy to upgrade had I found enough to warrant it. But as it would have cost me a few hundred pounds to upgrade, I couldn't see what I was getting for the money. I didn't care about a 2.5inch screen that much, I have an Epson P2000 with the most gorgeous 640x480 3.8" screen which I use for reviewing my shots.
The spot-metering was of interest but wasn't enough on its own. The rest was mostly tinkering really and whilst a couple of film-type modes might be considered useful to some, they aren't to me. The 40D will therefore be looked at as the first new mid-range DSLR from Canon since the 20D and hence our greater than normal wish lists as well as expectations because of what is already available on the 400D. I just wish they'd put us out of our miseries LOL. Cheers, Rob
