Canon 50mm 1.4 v 85mm 1.8 v 100mm 2.0

Just a few quick examples between the canon 50mm F/1.4, 85mm f/1.8 and 100mm f/2.0......these are the primes I mostly use to shoot basketball and often shoot @ f2.0.

RAW files resized converted to jpeg with no sharpening applied;

100% crops;

Interestingly both the 85mm & 100mm have picked up more detail in the box than the 50mm.

Did the light not change though for 85mm & 100mm (reflections on box) ?

You would think the 50mm f1.4 would have more light show up on the light box shooting slower...must be the coatings on the lense it self that refracts the brighter light somewhat.. I can see where it would matter if you were shooting a white floor or maybe white uniforms. Kinda interresting for me as I haven't paid alot of attention to this issue.
