Canon A640 Compact
I own a Canon A640 compact camera. The sensor is described as being a 1/1.7" I interpret this as meaning it is a rectangle measuring 1 inch by 1.7 inches. Surely I can't be right, or can I? I should be grateful if someone would explain.
