Which camera do you have, Ray, and which type of shooting do you do the least of?

Re: Canon EF28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS
I have the Canon 400D and 350D, i try to do everything but im being told that the 28-135 is a great walkabout lens in my own mind ive thought of getting rid of the sigma but i need to be sure i dont want any regrets after...Ray

I would suggest... You have the wider angles covered with the 20-22 You have the zoom covered with the 70-300 So ditch the Sigma 18-50mm |

Re: Canon EF28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS
Selling the Sigma seems good choice but do it because it is a rational and reasoned re-acation. Don't rush into it, and maybe a review of all your lenses is worthwhile with a long-term solution in mind.

Hi you could also consider the Sigma EX 24-70mm - of it's not got IS but it has got F2.8 throughtout the entire range (I think)..
Plus PM sent... |

Re: Canon EF28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS
It all depends on what you shoot. I've wanted the 28-135 for a walkaround for a while now.. but my sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 and tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 are too crucial for low light shooting for me to consider getting rid of, and I'd sooner dump money into an ultra wide lens than a more suitable walkaround.
Ditch what you don't use. If there's one that you haven't actually had on your camera in months, that's the one that needs to go. If you find that you regularly use all three, then perhaps you should save your money and buy the lens when you don't have to sell anything else off first. Redundancy is a good thing.. don't worry if your lens coverage overlaps a bit.
