Canon remote switch

Canon RS-80N3 compatible 100m WIRELESS remote switch for Canon EOS 5D, 1D Mark II, IDs, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, D30, D60, D2000 by JJC (Electronics)

Amazon.co.uk: Canon RS-80N3 compatible 100m WIRELESS remote switch for Canon EOS 5D, 1D Mark II, IDs, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, D30, D60, D2000: Electronics & Photo

I have just received the remote switch after placing and order
with Amazon on Thursday July 10th

An excellent service and value for money at £29.99 which includes battery and charger.
I agree totally with the contents of the review
One small comment
It is not easily identified which way the connector goes into the camera.
Make sure that the connector is at right angles and that cable runs out and over the lens

Re: Canon remote switch

I have also purchased this remote switch - its great for wildlife pictures, set the camera on a tripod point the camera at the bird feeder or subect matter. Stand back into cover and wait and watch until the action happens press the focus button on the remote then the shutter and you will be amazed at the very close up pics you can take.It works up to about 80m away depending on obstructions. Well worth the money

Re: Canon remote switch

Don't forget I posted that link for wired remotes for Nikon and Canon, (and probably others too) from e-bay at a cost of, inc P&P £4.88.

It is in the suppliers and Bargains forum here.

Edit - Link in other post now updated.

Re: Canon remote switch

The link doesn't work anymore Graham. But I know which shop it is as i've bought quiet a few bits from there. They are very good, it all works fine. And for the price you can't complain either. The service is good as well. And if you buy another item, they take £1 of the next item

I've now updated the link in the Suppliers and Bargains forum.

For those who can't be bothered to go there, here is the link.
