Canon tethered question

Personally I'm a Nikon man and use camera control pro 2 however someone my son knows has just bought a canon camera and wants to know if canon do anything similar for tethered shooting or come to that third party software that would do it I don't know what model he's got thou although I know it's fairly new

Re: Canon tethered question

The EOS Utility which comes with Canon DSLR's allows for tethered shooting. I have tried it out but not used it for real for my personal photography. At the Club we used to control the Club Camera using the EOS Utility but have moved on to other solutions now.
