Re: Card Reader
Hi, most desk tops and laptops have card readers already. Check your computers instructions. In the event it doesn't you can buy a multi-card reader from most shops, Argos, Jessops and others, tell them it's for an SD card. Most if not all will fit in your computers USB2 port and down load automatically.

Re: Card Reader
You can use any card reader, but you might want to consider a UDMA one that will be faster than ordiary ones. True, the spec of your computer will also have an effect on the download speeds, but if you check the spec of the reader it might give you some info on the spec of the computer required to achive the best speed. Even if your computer does not reach this spec, it might still be faster than a standard card reader.
Something like this Lexar Professional UDMA Dual Slot USB 2.0 Reader ( UDMA CF/ CF/SD/SDHC Cards ): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories A standard card reader can be bought for under £5 from somewhere like the 7Day shop - and they deliver free. 7dayshop.com - Online Store They also do camera bags.

Re: Card Reader
The critical thing here is that it'll read SDHC cards and isn't just for SD cards. There are still some of the older SD-only readers around and using one of those will corrupt your SDHC data (as the SD cards all look the same and you use the same port). SD cards are 2GB and under, SDHC are all over 2GB

Re: Card Reader
It's worth thinking to future proof your choice by buying a reader for SDXC - the next generation.
