D200 grip question

Having now sold my D200 with grip to someone who shall remain nameless, It appears that the original battery cover on the body has gone AWOL, this u obviously remove to enable the grip to be attached.
As i last put the grip on it 12 months ago can someone tell me is there a storage facilty in the grip/camera for the cover or do u safely store it elsewhere. Cos i cant find the dam thing anywhere. Did tell him i got a roll of gaffa tape if that was any help!

Re: D200 grip question

Unfortunately it doesn't have a storage space so it's put it in a safe place.

Re: D200 grip question

there is a storage for the D200 grip, it sits at the side of the pins that slide into the battery hole thingy, just checked mine and its there, this is the original NIKON grip
