Bought a d300 today upgrade from d50. Was going to get a used d200,but after reading charlotes comments I have to admit if I bought the d200 I would still hanker for the d300.

When you've had a chance to try it out, your comments in the Reviews section would be appreciated.

I think that the decision to go for the D300 rather than the D200 was right, for the reasons you gave. In a few weeks/months you'd have regretted not spending a bit more to get what you really wanted.
