d300
Bought a d300 today
upgrade from d50. Was going to get a used d200,but after reading charlotes comments I have to admit if I bought the d200 I would still hanker for the d300.Quote (Whilst perhaps not a logical upgrade for a D200 owner, for me with my D50 it makes more sense to go with the D300 than to go for a D200, which is really only a stepping stone to the D300. So yes it would be worth it for me to pay the extra for a D300 at the outset. Otherwise I would end up buying a D200 which would still leave me feeling sure that I would want a D300 down the line. i.e. It would not work out cheaper for me in the long run to buy a D200, as I'd also ending up forking out for a D300 as well!) Thanks charlotte wise words

Re: d300
When you've had a chance to try it out, your comments in the Reviews section would be appreciated.
![]() I think that the decision to go for the D300 rather than the D200 was right, for the reasons you gave. In a few weeks/months you'd have regretted not spending a bit more to get what you really wanted.
