D300 battery question
On the D300 fitted with the grip and extra battery, in the menu you can choose which battery it uses first, I was wondering how thou the reaqding on the LCD top panel reads it? Does it read one battery until that exhausts then jump back to full when the other takes over or does it read both together and when the display shows its flat its reading both.
Took mine to Dubai and 700 shots and two and a bit weeks later it had only dropped halfway, took it to London last week and it dropped over halfway on two fully charged batterys in a day. Shame it wasnt 48 degrees in London like it was in Dubai

Re: D300 battery question
it will jump back to full again, as it reads the level per battery, not overall...
