D300 book
On friday i got from Grays Simon Staffords book on the D300 so far ive been very impressed with it as i was with his D200 book price in the shop was £15 delivered is £18, I also had a look round the secondhand dept, conviently downstairs with one door and a "Yes Sir certainly sir D300 and the 17 55 against a D3 and a 24 70.............well put it this way the book will still be useful. Did get caught up in the Cycling protest in Parliment sq on fri eve which was entertaining, Also some nice shots from St Pancras and the London eye etc.

Re: D300 book
Muscle you were caught in the cycling? What were you driving? I was one of them annoying bikers
![]() Just for the record it's called Critical Mass, and it's not a protest per se, more an event, to both raise awareness about cycling, some people come to protest and it can get too heated, but mostly it's about having fun. And we did indeed

Re: D300 book
Me i was the man with the tripod stood on the edge of Parliment square right opposite BB. Did get a few shots of a bloke with long greying dreadlocks about 50 on a bike taking pics with a oldish film 35mm know him ?will post his pic . There were certainly one or two of you, i would say over 1000 easy fairplay my sister tells me they are also doing it in New York.
Whens the next one? |

Re: D300 book
Don't think I saw him, but saw plenty of 'characters' you might've got shots of!
Yeah there were more people than I expected, but that added to the spectacle Next one is the last Friday of next month, and so on, I believe. I should think I'll be going again, twas fun. Nothing serious in terms of biking though, very slow pace, good for your 'not putting feet down thing' practice though
