Re: diy macro
Marcin used to use a bridge camera and a clip-on lens and got fantastic results.
Many members also use dedicated macro lenses, and a few use magnifying screw-in filters and extension tubes. You'll hear from some of them soon enough. Marcin has also done an excellent tutorial on macro photography here. |

Hi Steve - there are plenty of threads about macro lenses if you use the search option. Tubes are very good but often reduce the depth of field to nearly nothing, good if you want a gnats eyelash in focus and the rest out of focus. Can't help you with reversers or magnifiers
