Finally, the only 'bag' I'll ever need
Since I've been putting in the airmiles recently, I've found lugging the conventional soft bags to be a real nuisance. When fully loaded, my Lowepro rucksack is very heavy and really inconvenient when waiting in queues for security and customs/immigration checks etc.
I finally caved in and picked up a Pelican 1510 case for my gear when travelling and boy, it doesn't dissapoint in terms of what I can pack in.  I'm off to Atlanta in a few days time so will do a full review when I get back. |

I use one of these and can fully recommend them......also doubles up as a seat.

Wow that is one good buy. It looks very sturdy and big as well. Can you take it into the plane with you? Or do you have to check it in?

I guess the great thing about the case is that it could go in the hold if necessary, unlike my Tamrac Expedition 8. I found internal flights in Oz allowed far smaller bags (but I only had one occasion when given a hard time - but they let me take it as cabin) and fully packed weighed in at 11kg (but I only had one occasion when given a hard time - but they backed down when I asked for them to pick up the tab for any damage if I removed anything to my pockets)
