Guess the lens?

Heres the story a mate of a mate has a minolta 5d that he's looking to sell along with 2 lenses and in a really trusting move is going to let me try before I buy . one lens is a sigma 50mm macro ex jobby the other is a little harder to identify




Now I can guess as far as a sigma 75 - 200 but anyone give a clue as to all the letters that would follow that? looked at sigma's website no 75 - 200 to be seen

P.S. I can't show any sample pics from the cam as he failed to lend me a CF card to go with it I'll be speaking to him on monday see if I can get one off him then.

very similar except where that one says 1:2.8 ~ 3.5 mine has 1 3.8 the ":" probably has been rubbed off along with what ever ~may have been there

It's an older style lens I think, that's why it's hard to figure out exactly what one it is as Sammy says.
