Held D300 today

Had a moche in the not so local Jessops earlier had a feel of the D300 impressive although the battery was flat!!!
Owning a D200 with the grip etc and a mothballed D70, not exactly gonna pay over the odds but off to Olympia on wednesday to Nikons effort so might even get a fully charged one toplay with.

Re: Held D300 today

thats so weird, cause my dad owns a d200, and HAD a d70, then got the d70s after the d70 got water in and a got messed up so he jsut upgraded... but i say had cause i now use his d70s... so technically its mine now but anyways it was so weird that you ahve pretty much the same cameras, and last week we were looking at teh d300 and in about 15 minutes he decided he wanted the d300... of course he hasnt asked my mom about it ... but he wont... but the d300 looks amazing... i'm wondering how well the self cleaning sensor will work... but that feature looks useful, along with all the better upgrades and stuff... cant wait to play with it probably around christmas....
