Help with finding Tripod and Flash

Ladies and Gents, your help please.

An opportunity has arisen for the chance of some photography equipment, my birthdays coming up, however with two of the kids at University at the moment the budgets a bit tight.

I'm looking for a tripod and a flash for my canon 350D, can anyone recommend any of these items, I'm looking to spend approx £50 to £75 on each one.

Thanks in advance

Mike

Can't help with the flash option at that price range, but the 2 I would suggest would be the Canon speedlite 430ex and the sigma super 500 thingymajig

Ask Matty where he got his Tripod from, it looks more or less an exact copy of my manfrotto 190 for a lot less
