How do I get my Velbon to spread her legs
I have a Velbon Sherpa 450R and I have been told that I can get the legs to spread three different angles to lower the tripod to almost ground hight but for the love of me I can't figure out HOW.
Any help to this confused butterfingers gratefully appreciated. Thanks Chris |

Don't have one but by the looks of it you press the button at the top of the leg.

with my manfrotto the thumb thing is REALLY tight unless I push the leg in a bit.
do you not have the manual for it? |

As OP says, pull the leg IN a bit before you pull it OUT, while keeping button held down. My manfrotto works the same way.

On my velbon, you have to slide the button to one side, not push it in. I've just checked...
