Re: Just arrived 28-75 f/2.8 Tamron
Hey spxxxx, what camera was that on? also what focal length for the brick shot.
If you've used the 17-85 IS Canon lens how do you think it compares in image quality as they are priced about the same give or take a lot depending on where you buy from? |

Hi
Used on a D1X focal length 70mm - it seems pretty sharp bearing in mind that really all images should be tweaked before print etc |

Re: Just arrived 28-75 f/2.8 Tamron
Congratulations on the new lens
The Tamron 28-75f2.8 was the first lens I bought to go along with my 10D, I now have a 20D and many L lenses but happily use the Tamron in their company when I need the range or the speed. If you get a good version of it they are absolutely excellent. Small and light with great image quality, I honestly don't see myself parting with mine anytime in the near future
