Typical. Got fed up waiting for Jessops to get me a Nikon 18-200 VR lens, so went ahead 7 bought a couple of other lenses last week. What happens today....voila , the 18-200 is delivered !!
Now I know the 2 lenses I have just bought should be better, plus they have a fixed wider aperture....... but do I have the skill to show that difference in my shots I ask myself . Add into the equation my missus only thought I spent a couple of hundred quid last week , I'm under pressure to sell something.Looking at Ebay I noticed several of the 18-200 lenses have sold for between £650 & £699 !!! in the UK. A nice profit that could help offset some costs recently. Anyway before I make a decision I will keep on eye on what others think of the lens in the Review section here :- Nikon AF-S 18-200mm DX VR 3.5-5.6G IF-ED Lens review |

I'm after an 18-200 VR for holiday photography. I cant think of a better lens that will fit so many situations.

Re: Just like buses...the Nikon 18-200 VR delivered
You won't believe this, but it's still inside a sealed brown cardboard box 2 days on. I just haven't had a spare moment to play with. I'm relying on others to share their thoughts on the Review Page, to see if I should keep or not
