Just thought I'd share
That I've bought (ordered) a new lens...yay.
In light of current threads, I'll up the ante a bit (cmon Dave, you need to get with it) Rep points for whoever guesses it first, and I'll not answer till someone gets it right! You should be able to work it out but maybe not. My gear list is completely up to date apart from this one.

Dave has proved he knows me well.
I've been saying I was going to get a nifty for about 2 years  Can't afford / dont need 1.4, or the 80mm, but I really could do with the nifty for my actual photo work as well as just my personal stuff. Well done Dave, now what camera have you got?

Yes it's been a while since I got some new kit (bags don't count), so be nice to have something to play with, as well as it hopefully being used to its money's worth

Pah, don't need another...
Will not be any time soon, and will either be a faster version 18-70 of my type lens, or an 80.200 f/2.8... |

Nah, I reckon a 17-55 f/2.8 to really show off the D300
