To late to turn back now

I've just took the plunge and gone FF, Took delivery of a D4 a 14 24 2.8 a 24 70 2.8 a 70 200 2.8 vr2 and a 85 1.4g.
The one thing that surprised me most is how light the D4 is

The 85 1.4g really is something else one of the sharpest lense I've ever seen

Well done ! That's an envious selection of goodies. Having had a while with the D4 I was also surprised with the weight but then it is not the same as a straight DSLR + grip, which is heavier. Very nice machine gun and the quality of the targets comes out well. Enjoy !!

I've got a D300 and the nikon grip I carted that to Dubai and back a few years ago I often go to London for the best part of a day getting there at 8am and leaving at midnight and carrying the d300 with the grip along with the attached 17 55 2.8 you know you've done it the day after.

I did buy her a newish Audi A6 3.0 tdi estate to go to work goes pretty well tiptronic box put it in S and it certainly lights up Quattro one so it holds on pretty well returns about 42 mpg on the motorway

Although I am a Canon user (for no other reason that I started that way in 1973), I was very pleased when I moved to FF. I have also long admired the Nikon 14-24mm lens as well. Make sure you insure the kit then enjoy!!!!

Its still all boxed up at mo and will insure it infact any suggestions as to where to greatfully recieved especially as i witnessed a street robbery in Paris a few weeks back, Some kid snatched some tourists bag in the yard outside The Louvre museum he ran that fast he made Usain Bolt look like he had one leg
