Hi... I am new to this forum and have become interested in macrophotography, particularly insects and flowers... I purchased a Fuji E900 and I am not getting good results with the macro setting. I would like to purchase a macro lens that would fit this camera. I already have the lens adapter. FujiFilm tech support relates that they only make the telephoto and wide-angle lens and that I would need to purchase an after market macro lens. They cautioned that I be very careful in selecting a manufacturer and type of lens because of problems encountered. As you may have guessed, I am a novice so any assistance would

Jessops always used to sell a range of close-up lenses of very good quality. I have one called the 'Digital/Video Macro Lens", which I've used for years. It comes in 37mm fitting and adaptors are available for several other sizes (I've had great success using it on a Coolpix via a 28mm adaptor).

I'd recommend calling in to your local Jessops and seeing if they can help you (hint: try and go in during a weekday morning - you'll have more chance of talking to someone who knows what's what)
