Lense for my E300

I have posted about this before but was reading reviews etc and its saying there are no FourThirds lenses available for the Olympus E300 except Zuiko(sp) which are expensive?

or thier own 14-45 (28-90mm eq ) and 40 -150 which i have.

Can I not get a differing make or is it that nothing will fit?

Found the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED150mm F2.0 and just come roundfrom seeing the price!

I am in depserate need of a faster lense but Im wondering if I also should change camera?

Get very confused when looking at all the available items

From the Sigma site:

Corresponding AF Mounts
SIGMA,
CANON,
NIKON (D),

Where are you looking? You may need to go to a specific Sigma dealer to get the lenses

Re: Lense for my E300

Unfortunately Sigma only do several 4/3rds mount lenses and none of them are very fast, apart from the Macro lenses which arn't really suitable for what you want.

To be honest I think the only lens "at a reasonable price point" that would just about do the job you want would be the Olympus ED 50-200mm F2.8-3.5, and even then the f/3.5 at the long end isn't ideal. I'd highly recommend you audition this lens before buying though just in case the f/3.5 dosn't cut it at indoor work... There may be other lenses that'll do the job, but I didn't come across any after a quick look through google

I hate to say this, but if that lens isn't good enough for your needs you may have to look into changing your system to Canon/Nikon

Olympus - ED 50-200mm 1:2.8-3.5

*Edit*

If you want to take a chance, here's one currently auctioning on ebay -
Olympus ZUIKO DIGITAL 50-200mm 1:2.8-3.5 PRO Zoom Lens - eBay For Digital SLR, Camera Lenses, Photography (end time 23-Sep-07 18:42:28 BST)

And here's a brand new import for a good price from a good seller on ebay -
BRAND NEW* OLYMPUS ZUIKO 50-200mm LENS *IN SCOTLAND - eBay For Digital SLR, Camera Lenses, Photography (end time 26-Sep-07 05:39:50 BST)

If you went for the 50-200, don't forget you'd get back some of the cost from selling your 40-150 which you probably wouldn't need anymore.
