Man. That looks like a kick ass lens! I found another review of it here: Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED which pretty much backs up everything you wrote in yours Charlotte. I need to go blow the moths out of the wallet and see what pennies are lodged down the back of the sofa.
[Edit] Looks like it also won Lens of the Year Award 2007 in Amateur Photographer magazine. [Edit] I now have one winging it's way towards me. *woohoo* On another note...I need to keep away from threads in this part of the forum  Last edited by LJR69 : 09-05-2008 at 13:43. |

Save your cash, get a sigma 105mm, slow a/f, hunts quite a bit, but who uses a/f in macro shots. Great lens.
