Manfrotto for my D80 ?

I want to buy a Tripod and Head for my D80 and I wanted to know if the following would be suitable considering I have an 18-200mm VR lens ?

Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod with a 322RC2 Head.

The reason I ask is because the Head description says

"SLR cameras with short and/or light fixed-length lenses"

And I'm not sure my 18-200 fits into that catergory.

Thanks for any advice

I use the same head with a Canon 100-400, no problem. I think you'll be OK.

I think that combination would be very suitable. I've had a look at the head, and it is quite a substantial bit of kit. I think it would cope with your 18-200 without batting an eyelid. I've got one on my wish list.
