Manfrotto Tripod - Model 055CL

Whew - I was lucky enough to buy this item on ebay at the weekend - and my husband is VERRRY jealous. I shall of course allow him to use it occasionally. If the seller is on pixalo - its brilliant - thankyou. Knowing very little about tripods, I shall enjoy learning how to use it! It is extremely sturdy (and unmarked) with a 360 degree rotation and reversible centre post. It is aluminium with a panhead. If anyone else has one I would love to hear your views and any tips you might have,

Nellie

Re: Manfrotto Tripod - Model 055CL

Well ,
I had my first jaunt out with the Manfrotto tripod on Sunday last. I managed to carry it myself (no husband required to carry it). it was stable, easy to put together and it is very encouraging to try out the extra features for a very much beginner. Give me a few weeks and I feel confident that I will be able to give a fulsome, technical report on this tripod.
