Re: n80
Film cameras are pretty much fully developed now. I've not used the N80 I am more familiar with it being called the F80. I am fairly sure it will do everything you could need. I still have an F100 and it's a great camera.

Re: n80
Any of the canon fd cameras are well worth having and can be got for pennies.
There is also a billion lenses in fd mount out there on the second hand market! |

Re: n80
I needed the same thing for the same reason, and I bought a Canon AE-1 from Angela on here. Some of those go pretty cheap on eBay, and they are (so I've been told) extremely popular (my one's serial number is over 3 million), so maybe consider that, but mind you, it's not modern.
There's one ending soonish here, at a decent price. Not sure if you're in the UK tho or not? Canon AE1 Program 35mm SLR Camera & lenses etc - eBay 35mm SLR, Film Cameras, Photography (end time 29-Sep-07 13:21:56 BST)

Re: n80
The advantage of the F80 is that it will be compatible with a lot of existing Nikon kit and has pretty good autofocus.

![]() although my current lense doesnt fit a film camera, if i do buy a "FX" format lense (as nikon now calls it.) i would be nice to be able to go back and forth between my d40 and n or f80. |
