New Olympus on the way
One of my email photo newsletters stated that Olympus is soon to release a 7.1 megapixil SP-550 UZ camera which features a whopping 18x (28 to 504mm equivalent) optical zoom lens. It is said to have 2 IS features, 1 Hardware which 'floats' the sensor, and 1 software, which auto boosts the ISO for a faster shutter speed. About $500 USD
504mm and IS in a P&S!  I may have to look at that one! |

I wish Olympus would issue an E30 with the basic design of the E10/E20 but with a 10Mp sensor and a nice big buffer - that would be my ideal camera!
