New review: Phottix Wireless Remote

I have added a review of the Phottix wireless remote control which is available for Canon and Nikon users as well as Sony A100, Minolta 5D/7D and some others.

This is an extremely cheap (money wise) but very impressive bit of kit which I can recommend to any of the above users.

Review here: Pixalo Photographic Equipment Reviews - Wireless Remote C3 -

Cheers,
Rob

Re: New review: Phottix Wireless Remote

Thanks for the heads up Rob,

These do indeed look interesting, I'd see them advertised at various places for about £30 and had left them alone because the price was a bit steep, but at less than £15 from this seller I've gone for one aswell.

Iain, if yours interferes with mine, we'll know it has a heck of a distance limit but hey, it has 16 different channels so we will be fine

Rob, do you know if the Nikon versions work with Fuji S2 Pro cameras since the S2 uses a Nikon body?

I wasn't sure about this thing, coming straight from hong kong, but its a solid piece that seems to function well. I can't wait to set it up and get detailed closeups of deer and squirrels.

I havn't had a chance to use mine in anger yet

As previously mentioned though it does seem like a reasonably well built piece of kit so I've no real worries about that... as long as you don't throw it about the place too much I think it should last a decent amount of time, for £13 odd quid it's certainly worth taking the chance on!
