looks good Joe, i still have to do a review on the Manfrotto copy i have, t550, and velbon sherpa pan head, not got round to it yet though...

Joe can I ask did you consider the 190MF4? and if so what made you choose the 055?

That looks like a very nice piece of kit.
I've got a Gitzo 2228 cf tripod with a Manfrotto 488RC4 ball head. The tripod is beautifully built, out classes the head i have to say. |

i got my manfrotto 055 pro in the post today

Just got the 322RC2 head myself - does anyone else find it odd that the head is off-centre (ie not over the actual ball).
This would have serious implications for panoramas..?? |
